This is not a liability at all as the B is one of the best sounding tubes ever produced. Even if you have highest efficiency speakers, the golden tone of the B tube and extra headroom it provides, are still the safest bet for DHT amplifier success with the most kinds of speakers, especially if they are not horn types. Push- pull B amplification offers the highest output power level of any of the above configurations up to 40 watts per channel or more in some circuits!
For my initial foray into the world of DIY tube amps, I decided to hedge my bets and go with the B single-ended tube topology for higher power and great fidelity. If so, just skip to the appropriate section that you need. Getting your hands on a good schematic is the probably the second most important step in the amp building process. Unless you are an experienced experimenter and design your own amps, the safest route is to select a proven schematic from many that are offered for free at sites on the Internet.

Introduction We have been designing, building, and selling DIY speakers–using full-range drivers–for more than 20 years now. We are one of the largest manufacturers of these types of speakers anywhere in the world. For the first time, it’s possible for you to buy directly from a manufacturer. In this way, you get the most value for your money AND the best sound possible. A lot of work goes into making a true ‘full-range’ speaker, one that approaches 20, cycles in the treble.
It is necessary to fit powerful magnets to obtain these high frequencies. Our Audio Nirvana speakers use magnets as strong–or stronger–than any other full-range speaker. Getting the midrange ‘right’ is especially difficult. It takes extensive testing to optimize the many design elements. In the end, Audio Nirvanas are the most detailed speakers that money can buy. Getting the bass ‘right’ is also a difficult proposition. What should the cone excursion be?

That being said, watts aren’t everything. I’m talking about over-all quality comparitively. I have heard some criticism that there is no midle EQ I have had no trouble at all finding perfect balance in tone so take that with a grain of salt.
In addition to the two jack inputs, there is a mic input on channel two that can be used simultaneously with the guitar What an amazing feature. In the case of a guitar amp, it’s all coming at you raw and the speaker is forced to deal with a much wider range of dynamic sound.
Furthermore, the way a tube amp puts it’s signal into a speaker seems to be a bit different than the way a solid state amp does.
It involves breaking out the speakers from the wiring loom or attaching the Amp from the speaker terms & then feeding Ur new Woofs from the Amp. Do U have room to mount the Amp & Woofs easily??? And do U have very heavy “Power Cable” & “Speaker Wire” to handle the loads???

The ignition or 12v turn on which it’s also called from the headunit I tapped it into the side of the key switch that gets 12v whenever the key is switched to ON. This way you don’t lose memory to the headunit.
